Mr. Raashid Rahman

Mr. Raashid Rahman is an accomplished finance professional with approximately 17 years of experience in financial management, accounting, taxation, reporting, and control. He currently serves as Financial Controller at Al Ghaith Chemical Industries LLC, Oman.

His responsibilities include financial reporting, cost optimisation, budgeting, cash-flow planning, audit coordination, taxation, reconciliation, and SAP FICO control. Previously, he held senior finance positions with Sulzer Chemtech UK Ltd., supporting the company’s Middle East operations.

His earlier experience includes serving as Senior Tax Analyst at Ernst & Young LLP and Financial Analyst at Thomson Reuters International Pvt. Ltd. He possesses extensive expertise in management reporting, rolling forecasts, contract review, risk assessment, compliance, and variance analysis.

Mr. Raashid holds an MBA in Finance from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. He also holds a B.Com. in Computer Applications from Kannur University. He combines financial expertise with a strong interest in community development.
