WADI KABIR MOCK UNITED NATIONS(WKMUN) 2021 – REPORT
Venue: Virtual
Nine students from our school participated in the virtual Mock United Nations
(MUN) organised by Indian School Wadi Kabir on 25.10.2021 and 26.10.2021 and
brought laurels to the school. This time MUN was divided into two committees
TheUnited Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and the UNESCO. From our
school, the UNGA had 4 participants and the UNESCO had 5 participants. They
were put into different political blocs and debated on the given topics and finally
drafted the resolution. 15 Indian schools participated in the event.
Master Srihari Pradeep of class IX B delegate of Cameroon (UNGA) received the
Best researcher award on the topic The Eye in the Sky– ‘The Future of drones’
Master Abhinav S. Ashok of class XI delegate of Dominican Republic received
Best Researcher award on the topic Preservation of cultural Heritage in warlike
situations.
