Mathematics, Science & Art Exhibition

The Mathematics,Science & Art Department of Indian School Sur, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, successfully conducted a Science Exhibition on Thursday, 9th April 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:50 p.m.

A total of 63 students from Classes III to XII actively participated in the exhibition, displaying remarkable enthusiasm and scientific temper. The exhibition featured 37 projects, comprising 22 working models, 14 still models, and 1 product demonstration. All exhibits were systematically arranged, and the participating students confidently presented their projects to the officials, teachers, and students who visited the stalls.

Students from Classes V to XII were given the opportunity to explore the exhibition stalls and gain knowledge from the innovative exhibits. The chief officials and guests from the Ministry of Education highly appreciated the students for their creativity, scientific talent, and dedicated efforts. Certificates were awarded to all participants as encouragement and recognition of their hard work.

A special highlight of the event was that one of our student projects was displayed alongside exhibits from Omani schools and Oman University students. Fathima Marwa and Sreelakshmi Sheby of Class XII showcased their skincare project, “Noore Velour,” featuring two natural cosmetic products: a Botanical Anti-Acne Face Gel and a Radiance Elixir Anti-Aging Serum. Their innovative product demonstration received an overwhelmingly positive response from the Omani audience and guests. Their presentation was appreciated for its innovation, clarity and emphasis on safe and effective skincare solutions and they were honored with certificates from the Ministry of Education.

The exhibition was also opened to parents from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and again from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., receiving a warm and encouraging response from them.

Overall, the Science Exhibition was conducted successfully with the active participation of students, dedicated guidance of teachers and valuable support from parents. The event was efficiently coordinated under the leadership of Principal Dr. S. Srinivasan and with the assistance of Vice Principal Mr. Biju Mathew.
