Workshop on Technological Agriculture

Indian School Sur hosted an informative workshop on Technological Agriculture conducted by the Ministry of Education, Sur, on Wednesday, 8 April 2026. The session, organized for students of Classes XI and XII, focused on real-life agricultural challenges and practical technological solutions. It was led by Dr. Avnish Pareek, Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Biotechnology at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Sur.

Dr. Pareek, who has been serving in Oman for the past ten years, shared his expertise in Biotechnology and Bioprocess Engineering, highlighting the role of modern technology in developing sustainable agricultural practices. The workshop provided valuable insights into innovative approaches that can enhance productivity while promoting environmental responsibility.

The session proved to be highly engaging and enriching for both teachers and students. The school expressed its gratitude to Dr. Pareek for his valuable time and for delivering an enlightening and inspiring presentation.
