Technology Day Celebration

The Technology Day celebration was conducted on 10th May 2026with great enthusiasm and excitement, providing students with a wonderful opportunity to explore the world of innovation, digital learning, artificial intelligence, and modern technology. The celebration aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of technology in education and daily life, while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and future-ready learning.

The programme began with the school prayer, followed by a series of informative and engaging presentations by the students. The students of Class XI Computer Science presented a video on the Technology timeline, explaining the journey “From Invention to Innovation.” This presentation helped students understand the growth and development of technology over time.

A thoughtful presentation titled “Tech Myth vs Reality” was presented by Miss Omisha Vajaria and Miss Adhisree Sujeesh of Class VIII, clearing common misunderstandings about technology. “Tech Flash” was presented by Miss. Krishna Babu of Class VIII, giving students quick insights into the latest technological updates.

An informative “Tech Talk” on Quantum Computing was delivered by Miss Safoorah of Class VIII. The session introduced students to one of the most advanced and emerging areas of technology. An interactive “Tech Blitz” on the latest technologies was conducted by Miss Annviya Joseph of Class VIII, making the programme lively and engaging for the audience.

One of the major highlights of the celebration was the “Tech Nova”- an innovative IoT Weather Station Project developed by Master Ali Ibrahim of Class VII from the Innovation Lab of the School. The project demonstrated how technology can be used to measure and display weather-related data, giving students practical exposure to IoT-based applications. The programme also included a mind-blowing “Tech Step” performance by the boys of Class VII, adding energy and excitement to the event.

The programme was beautifully anchored by Miss Injila Ahmadi, Miss Gopika Nair,   Miss Alwina, and Miss Haribala Hareesh. Through presentations, demonstrations, interactive activities, and performances, students learned how technology is shaping the future and how it can be used wisely in education and everyday life.

As part of the celebration, the school also proudly highlighted a meaningful step taken by the Department of Computer Science through the IBM SkillsBuild Professional Certification Programme. Under this initiative, the students of Class XII Computer Science explored certification courses based on their interests and gained exposure to the latest industry trends and professional skills. It is a matter of great pride that out of 12 students, 7 students successfully earned IBM Professional Badges.

The certificates for the IBM SkillsBuild Professional Certification Programme were distributed by the Principal, Dr. S. Srinivasan, who congratulated the students on their achievement and encouraged them to continue developing their technological skills and professional knowledge.

The programme concluded with the National Anthem of India. Overall, the Technology Day celebration was a meaningful and inspiring event that motivated students to embrace technology with responsibility, creativity, and confidence.
