Valedictory Ceremony – Class XII

Indian School Sur held its valedictory ceremony on February 15, 2024, bidding farewell to 55 outgoing Class 12th students. The event, which commenced at 7 pm, was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including the Chief Guest, Mr. Jami Srinivasa Rao, President of the School Management Committee (SMC), Mr. Pradeep Kumar A V, Convenor; Adv Saeed T P, Treasurer; Dr. Ramkumar, Member; Mr. Shabeeb Mohammed, Member; Mrs. Nishreen Basheer member SMC, Principal Dr S Srinivasan, along with parents, teachers, and graduating students.

In his presidential address, Mr. Jami Srinivasa Rao congratulated the students on their successful completion of schooling and encouraged them to utilize their acquired knowledge to overcome life’s challenges effectively. He wished them success as they embarked on their journey towards achieving their dreams.

Dr. Ramkumar, a respected member of the SMC, emphasized the importance of education and diligent study in shaping a meaningful life. Drawing inspiration from ancient wisdom, he highlighted the duties children owe to their parents as a guiding principle for success.

Mr. Shabeeb Mohammed, another SMC member, stressed the significance of self-belief and the right attitude in achieving success. He expressed gratitude to the teachers for their dedication in shaping the students’ academic journey.

Mrs. Nishreen Basheer, representing the SMC, extended heartfelt congratulations to all graduating students.

Dr. S Srinivasan, the Principal of Indian School Sur, delivered an insightful speech, emphasizing the significance of the occasion beyond farewells. He encouraged students to confront future challenges with confidence and dedication, transforming their dreams into actionable visions.

Dr. Srinivasan highlighted the three fundamental D’s of life: Desire, Decision, and Discipline, as guiding principles for success. He emphasized the importance of good grades in shaping the students’ future and urged them to embrace change gracefully.

The ceremony featured a floral welcome to the chief guest, followed by prayers and the lighting of the lamp. Citations for outgoing students were read by their class teachers, followed by blessings from educators. Outgoing students, SMC members, the Principal, and the Chief Guest shared their experiences and blessings.

Mrs. Sarala, HOD of Science, motivated the students with her words of encouragement, and mementos were distributed as a token of appreciation and love from Indian School Sur. The vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs. Aswathy, the physical education teacher. The master ceremony was conducted by Dr. Pradeep RV, HOD of English.

The valedictory ceremony served as a memorable event, marking the transition of students from Indian School Sur to the next phase of their lives with optimism and determination.
