Indian School Sur made a proud mark at MON AVIS 2025 – Inter-School Debate for the Ambassador’s Rolling Trophy, held on Sunday, 18th May 2025, at Indian School Al Ghubra under the aegis of the Board of Directors, Indian Schools in Oman. This prestigious English debate competition witnessed participation from 15 top schools across Oman, in the esteemed presence of His Excellency Shri G V Srinivas, Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman.

Our talented Class XII students, Ms. Janaki Aneesh and Mast. Sivasree Nandhu showcased exceptional oratory skills and intellectual finesse. In a moment of immense pride, Ms. Janaki Aneesh was declared the Second Runner-up, earning well-deserved applause and recognition.

Prizes were awarded in the following categories:

• First Runner-up
• Second Runner-up
• Best Rebuttal

This marks the second time Indian School Sur has brought home a trophy from this elite event—a remarkable achievement for an interior school steadily making its mark on the national stage. Kudos to our young debaters for their stellar performance and for making Indian School Sur proud!
