Environmental Protection Poster Making Competition

The Indian School Sur successfully organized an Environmental Protection Poster Making Competition and Cleanliness Drive on 30th October 2024. The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Abdullah Salim Mubarak Al-Arimi from the Media & Awareness Sector, Sur Municipality, and Mr. Nasser Dunj Nasser Al-Marhoobi, who encouraged students to actively engage in environmental conservation efforts.

The Poster Making Competition, held for students of Classes 5 and 6, focused on the theme of environmental protection. Students demonstrated great enthusiasm and creativity, producing vibrant and thought-provoking posters that highlighted the importance of safeguarding natural resources and promoting sustainable practices.

Following the competition, students from Class 7 participated in a cleanliness drive, aimed at fostering a sense of responsibility and awareness towards maintaining cleanliness in the surroundings. The students diligently cleaned the school premises, exemplifying a hands-on approach to environmental preservation.

The event concluded with words of encouragement from Mr. Al-Arimi and Mr. Al-Marhoobi and Mr. Jami Srinivas Rao, President School Management Committee who commended the students for their active participation and creativity. Their words reinforced the importance of individual actions in environmental stewardship.

The event served as a platform for students to showcase their artistic skills and deepen their commitment to environmental protection and cleanliness, contributing to the broader goal of creating a more sustainable and cleaner environment.
